We are eager to share our year in review, celebrate the successes, support the challenges, and offer the opportunity for our community to support BCMP’s continued efforts to help young people realize their potential by connecting them with positive adult mentors and resources.
With special guest speaker Lisa Johnson
Our biggest fundraiser of the year returns with the theme “A Story Worth Telling” with special guest professional storyteller Lisa Johnson.
“The spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down.” is a practically perfect description of Lisa Johnson’s performances, as stated by audience members.
She is a Professional Storyteller and has been weaving and performing tales since 2006. While working as a kid’s minister in a large church in Indianapolis, IN for ten years she earned her Master’s in Storytelling.
Today Lisa can be found speaking to audiences of all ages in schools, libraries, businesses, churches, conferences and more. She is often known for her zeal for life and where there is laughter you can be sure to find her. She and her husband, David, have been married for fourteen years and have four children.
