Boone County Mentoring Partnership

Betsy Williams shows blueprints for building houses, careers, and lives

When a teen-in-need approached Betsy Williams with a difficult situation, she knew the Boone County Mentoring Partnership was necessary. Since then, she helped him through high school and even taken on another mentee, Takayla. Together they have gotten to know each other, often going on outings and spending time together.

Instead of being an authority figure like a parent, mentors often are a fun outlet while still being a role model that supplements family dynamics for their mentee.
